Screw The Lemonade:
How to get sh*t done while overwhelmed and anxious
If you are overwhelmed and anxious, come to this free workshop to learn how to meet yourself where you are at today, and how to be productive in a way that works for you.
Y’all, sometimes life is just too much.
You need a way to get the important life things done even when you are struggling to get out of bed.
A couple of quick tips just isn’t going to cut it — you need help to find out how to quiet the white noise in your brain, prioritize what needs to get done and find the best way to hold yourself accountable to get sh*t done. So how do we do it?
Well, first up, if you are overwhelmed and anxious, you are not alone.
If anyone has told you: buck up buttercup, when life gives you lemons then make lemonade, every cloud has a silver lining, there is a light at the end of the tunnel, or any of the myriad positive thoughts that we are supposed to think, and you’ve wanted to kick that person in the teeth, then I’ve got you.
Sometimes you don’t have it in you to turn lemons into lemonade. That saccharine-sweet positivity just doesn’t work!
Let’s talk about how to get sh*t done
In this free workshop, we are going to start with where you are at and how you are feeling. Which, by the way, even if you are struggling, you are still making it through the day, so cut yourself some slack. You rock!
Next we will get clear on what you want and how you want to feel. Your want may actually be centered around things that need to get done in your life, and that is ok.
Hey-what’s your accountability style and how do you get the best accountability help that suits you? Not all accountability is built the same, but we’ll get you the help you need.
Finally, we’ll build out an actionable plan to get you unstuck, moving forward and getting sh*t done.
If you are ready to get sh*t done then register for this free workshop today. You can join live on Thursday, March 12th from 6PM-7PM Central Time or sign up and get the replay in your inbox.
My get sh*t done journey
Depression and anxiety are the worst. They rob you of so much of your life. I feel like the narrative around getting sh*t done is either way too cheerleader positive pollyanna, or make you feel shame because you should just be able to pull yourself up by your boot straps and get it done.
FYI- neither work.
I’ve dealt with trauma, depression, overwhelm, chronic pain, burnout and anxiety at various points in my life, yet, through it all I’ve learned how to work, live life, and be a semi-functioning member of society.
A few key things I’ve done: is see a therapist, work with my doctor to get on meds that help me day-by-day, and give myself some grace. That one by far has been the hardest.
I’ve helped many of my clients find their pathway out of the overwhelm by getting clear on what they need to be focusing on and how they want to feel.
I’ve also learned what works, and through some stuck times, what doesn’t. I want to share what I’ve learned with you, because I’ve been there.
I recognize that how we are feeling has a huge impact on how we are able to show up for ourselves and the people in our life. Sometimes when the overwhelm and anxiety are too much, it can feel really hard to get just the basic life needs met, let alone think about the future, but it is possible. Let me show you how.
